Commissioned by Vines Art Festival, Two° was created in collaboration with environmental activist Taylor Pearon. Inspired by the 2 degrees globally decided upon “bottom-most bottom line of temperature increase we can have moving forward” by the 167 countries emitting 87% of the world carbon emissions. Two° explores the contradiction in our desire to save our species, yet our inability to make drastic change in the direction that is needed to do so. It asks the question, will we prioritize our planet over our unsustainable way of life before it’s too late?
